Delicious locally-grown meal delivery

"I tried AlfreshCo for the first time, and it's awesome. It's definitely a niche meal delivery service because it's vegan and local so the food types are limited. The ingredients are nearly all sourced locally in New England and they tell you the actual farms each ingredient is from. I tried the herbed cherry tomato farro risotto. Along with those ingredients it had canellini beans, kale, and a tahini dressing. Everything came packaged nicely, ingredients separated in plastic. It was easy to cook and assemble. The meal tasted great, the portion size was generous. It is super impressive how they source everything locally, even beans and grains that I didn't know you could grow in New England. The one surprise was delivery - they don't notify you when they deliver, it's just an estimated 12-8pm delivery range and you have to leave a cooler out. It worked out fine, it's just that most other meal delivery companies send text or email confirmations. Their website says they often delivery by bike which I think is a neat local touch as well. "
