Blue Apron

"Blue apron has been the meal kit I've used most often, and I've used it off and on for years. Their quality of food and customer service has been great. They are a bit pricey for the amount of food, but I'm consistently happy with the meal choices and the quality. They are a typical meal kit so there is a fair amount of chopping and prep work, it typically takes me a good 45 minutes to prepare."

"My Blue Apron meals are always easy to make. The directions are very clear and there are many options for each week’s delivery. Directions come on a sheet with pictures of the elements needed for each meal and pictures of each step of the preparation. The vegetables and meat and fish are fresh and come in a box with a cooling packet. The only pieces of the meal that comes from my kitchen is a dribble of olive oil and salt and pepper. Everything else needed comes in the box. Each meal is more than enough for two people. With Blue Apron I can experiment with different kinds of food without having to buy ingredients that I might only use once or twice. I like that some meals you can upgrade to a different main meal or choose vegetarian or dietary types of meals. I have not yet tried the ready made meals or the desserts but hope to try them soon."
